Born and raised in the Bronx and Harlem, Cali found his passion of making music and killing beats at a young age. From the era when barz meant more than the beats, but a hot beat was definitely a plus, he found his genre of hip hop/rap music. Thru years of blood, sweat, and tears, opening acts for artist like Cam’ron, M.O.P and a few others, he first pursued this vision from a group’s perspective. Forming with groups based out of Harlem named Hotshotz, 3ple threat and the latest The Darkboyz. These groups were formations of friends and family that all at one time had the same visions and goals as young raw talented MC’s but people get older and see different things and go in different directions, always love tho. Now as a solo artist Cali is still ready and still killing beats.
